the weather has finally stopped being an asshole so you know what that means!
time for another edition of the great cat/window screen battles.

Every year I want to open the windows and every year my cat keeps trying to escape out them. I try to take him out but it just makes him want out more. he's not allowed out any more because he
a) climbs up trees, telephone poles, up onto roofs, etc, and then can't get down. I've had to call bc hydro to get him down and then a couple hundred dollars to the vet to stitch him up.
b)he has been hit by a car. (you don't even want to know how much money we paid to wire him back together again)
and c) we have tons of coyotes in the area and I had a cat get eaten before.
so I'm not just being a jerk by not letting him out.

I have a screen on the window but somehow he always manages to slip under it or knock it off and then out he goes. I thought he was too fat to get out the small space but then I heard a noise and out he went.
it's going to be a very hot muggy summer again with no fresh air.
