so other than that I have had a boring stupid week.
my mom took me out for dinner for my birthday and I caught her sickness so now I sound like a deranged bird while talking. I have to work with this new guy at work who has the personality of piece of gum. the kind that lasts a long time except for the fact that it's utterly tasteless. and had no taste to start with. ok maybe I should stop with the whole metaphor cause I think I'm over thinking it.
they have me working all weekends now so I forecast lots of non fun in the near future. take that social life!
I think I'm going to bite it and join facebook. I actually got a birthday card from a friend I haven't spoken to in a while and it said "please join facebook so we can keep in touch" if it's coming after me even in greeting cards I don't think I have much choice.
I was reading a book awhile ago from a before now trusted author, and then they stabbed me in the back and ended with a "it was all just a dream ending" I kept flipping backwards and forwards to make sure I hadn't made a mistake. but I hadn't! and then to make matters worse, I then read another book by her and it was about the exact same subject as the first only this time it wasn't a dream but it was a sort of continuation of the first one! that's it sue townsend. you already proved I'm an idiot with the whole "fool me once" rule and all but enoughs enough.
so I need a good book to read. with no lame cop out ending. any suggestions?
