Ive been thinking....
I shouldnt have let him leave with that lower lip. Its just wrong to have it wander off, unaccounted for (at least by me) and pouting and pursing whenever it sees fit.

Instead I think perhaps I should have kept it, strung it on a cord and worn it around my neck. Or better still kept it as a single dangling earring. Extra long so that as I walked it would swing and occassionally smack into the spot beneath my earlobe. You know that groove. That sweet little spot where the neck and jawline share a domain. The very spot that soft pink mollusk found sanctum and in fact convinced me I should nestle it away. If only for a few hours.

Oh but that smack. Its swing and graze. It would do nothing but slow me down. Paralyzing with the induction of an idiots grin across my face. Id never make it anywhere on time and spend most of the day trying to find a safe place to tuck it away. Hide it from myself in hopes of concentrating on anything else. Like walking and talking.

Yes, you're right. Its best that you took it along with you. But perhaps we could arrange for visitation rights?
