Centrifugal force caused by the gravity of the sun; though technically it was torque that made the world go round, and now it's simply inertia. On an interesting note, did you know that the moon is slowly drifting away from the earth at the rate of 1.6 inches (4 centimeters) a year? Yeah, I'm a nerd smile
