-saturday-
- i should have drank more water before i went to bed, i'm kinda dehydrated and sick feeling. i'm taking my sister to work at the mall, so i go to her house early and watch A Walk to Remember, just the end, cause i haven't seen the last 20 minutes or so of it. it was sadfrown then i started watching it with the commentary, then we left.
i drank more water and feel fine nowsmile
- i love watching A Knights Tale. i never watch it just once, it's always like 4 or 5 times in a row at leastsmile
- driving back from SD last night i realized i only ate once yesterdayconfused so i just ate 3 ham and salami sandwiches, and a big cup of cactus coolerbiggrin
then i took a nap for 4 hours.
- i always see the coolest stuff when i check out roethke's blogbiggrin
- i've been wanting to take another road trip, and doing it for this swap-o-rama-rama sounds like fun... i may just go to it...
- my grandma is watching TB (the christian station) and the preacher guy is saying how Jesus knew how much pain he'd go through and didn't want to die on the cross and was praying and God sent an Angel to give Jesus hope and the Angel told Jesus to "be happy because one day there will be a satelite network telling everyone about You, and it will have a white haired man and woman spreading the news." yeah, i'm sure Jesus was happy to die so a bunch of assholes could get rich off of him... surewhatever
- I just heard on the news Don Ho diedfrown
- i'm banned from tagging photo sets for 3 months. i was trying to think why, but i think i know, i was tring to put 2 words together in a tag, and kept forgetting the quatation marks (" ") or one of them and so i put like 7 tags. i forget which set that was on confused at least that's the only reason i can think of

-Sunday... The Lords Day-
- shanghai'd into taking my sister to work again. then made breakfast with my other sis, but first i had to clean up my moms kitchen so i could cook in it. took about an hour, then we watched a couple of The Best of The Dean Martin Variety Show, then went to the store.
cooked breakfast burritos: potatoes, onions, tomato, pork chorizo, eggs. then had chopped avocado, sour cream, and shredded cream to top them withbiggrin biggrin biggrin it was good. i made a big pot so i have enough for another couple days, toobiggrin
hung out at my moms all day, watching movies. we watched Stick It, and Wildcats, and my other sis, bro in law, and nieces + nephew came over.
my mom wrote a memo and gave us each a copy asking us to think up ideas for classes she can have for little kids at her studio. i told her my limitless imagination and intellectual property do not come cheap... and i was only half joking with her.
the while i was watching A Knights Tale they left to see a movie, they didn't know which one so i didn't want to go. i went to the store for more tortillas, bread and mayo, and i realized i left my sour cream at my mom's so i'll have to get it tomorrow before i have breakfast.
-Be happy...

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

A great note for all to read it will take just 37 seconds to read this and change your thinking

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.

The man in the other bed began to live for those one hour periods where his world would be broadened and enlivened by all the activity and color of the world outside.

The window overlooked a park with a lovely lake. Ducks and swans played on the water while children sailed their model boats. Young lovers walked arm in arm amidst flowers of every color and a fine view of the city skyline could be seen in the distance.

As the man by the window described all this in exquisite detail, the man on the other side of the room would close his eyes and imagine the picturesque scene.

One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by.

Although the other man couldn't hear the band - he could see it. In his mind's eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days and weeks passed.

One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone.

Slowly, painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the real world outside.

He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed.

It faced a blank wall. The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window

The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall.

She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

Epilogue:

There is tremendous happiness in making others happy, despite our own situations.

Shared grief is half the sorrow, but happiness when shared, is doubled.

If you want to feel rich, just count all the things you have that money can't buy.

"Today is a gift, that's why it is called the present."

That's coolbiggrin
-Heroes is back on tomorrowbiggrin i'm so excited, i hope i remember to watch it.

Monday-
- woke up after a wierd dream. someone was showing me a guy they'd drowned in a lake, and we're swimming around naked then i get out and couldn't find my clothes and was searching all around then found a towel and my hpone, but it wasn't my phone, it was a phone with my chip in it and i was all upset and anxious, and then i woke up and was anxious still but then i realized i had clothes on and my hpone was still mine and i was ok.eeek
- got my sour cream from my moms, and while i'm there the code enforcement guy shows up and writes a warning ticket for my sisters bf cause he's parked hanging out of the driveway and blocking the sidewalk and someone called to complainmad. they're on a tiny culdesac that only has 6 parking spaces outside of the driveways (8 if you include the little spaces you can barely fit a geo metro into) and my mom has her bf's truck just sitting in the driveway and her wierd street preacher friends hunk of shit car there too so nobody can actually park in it.mad
So i got home and made 3 breakdfast burritos

Mmmm, they tastes so goodbiggrin
new Chloe set, with Quinnebiggrin

- i was reading Cherry's blog and she has this in one part, "about being a creative person and having a creative job (especially one where you continually improve). We decided that we are only as good as our last piece of work."
i think that's true of everyone, in regards to what job you have. people look at you different depending on the job you have, or lack thereof. even if they know you, they'll look at you different depending on your job. people suckfrown
then i spent most of the day drawing

- Heroes comes back next week.frown damn.

- How were those ham and salami sandwiches? Man I haven't had either lunchmeat in SO LONG. I bet it tasted fucking yummy. What's in a cactus cooler?

- I'm not as big on watching movies as I'm into watching TV series. A movie starts and ends after 2-3 hours max. With a good TV series, the story goes on...and on...and on as long as the network keeps it on. Let's take Heroes for example. How great is the writing and the storylines that intertwine as well as it has so far this season? It's amazing how it's only it's 1st season, huh? You know how they say that a series gets better after the 1st few seasons? That means it's only going to get better as time goes on. Don't get me wrong, movies are entertaining as well: I just like to see more of a good thing once I get hooked into it. I saw M. Night Shyamalan's first major release A Sixth Sense. I was so hooked on that movie that it literally depressed me. Depressed because I wished they would've made a pre-quel so we can see more of Malcom's characterization before he was shot. I think that "failure" and the events that lead up to his death would've been another great movie. Since it was just that, a movie, all we got was 5 minutes of backdrop. In that respect, a TV series as far superior. Let me ask you, if Heroes were just a 2-3 hour movie, how pissed would you be? I know I'd be!
