- got woken at 0330, my mom calling asking me if i know where my 16 year old sister is, she was supposed to be home at midnight, and she's called everywhere and nobody knows where she is. so my mom is fraking out. i try to call my sis but she doesnt answer. so my mom calls back and still can't find her then she gets another call and hangs up, then calls back and it was my sis' friends mom, saying she IS there, and she was hiding in the bathroom. so my mom went and picked her up, and was crying. i took my sis to work today and told her our mom freaks out and thinks she's dead everytime she can't find her or she's out and didnt tell anyone. she didn't realize that, she just thought she'd make it home before our mom got up around 6ish.
- so anyway, i overslept, til like 10 to 10, so didnt get to work until 10 after 10 to help tara open. but it all worked out. and i went and picked up my sis kara and took her to work, and talked with her about not sneaking out. i don't think it worked.
- so i got to the gunshow at 1430, and it was fun. i bought a factory synthetic stock for my 10/22; a ckrt sealtac knife (to replace the one i lost(had stolen?) like 10 years ago; 2 mags for my 1911, and a green drop pad to put on the one target mag i have; some antler/horn pieces; a utility pouch for my utility belt, which i plan to use for my phone if i ever wear it again; a padded pistol bag for my 191, so i don't have to have it in the bulky plastic case it came in; a blind person folding cane (why? because it was only $5 and it looks cool
); some small files and picks; and thats all.
- the i went to hi-time wine cellars (which the esuire drinks book says may be the best liquor store in america, and it was AWESOME!) to get dukeypers wilderberry schnapps, and bols blue curacau, so we could make otter pops. then drove down to sd from costa mesa, a nice hour and a half drive down the coast.
- and when i got to chris and aubrey's we started drinking. we made otter pops, and thne just random blue and green drinks with... well all kinds of stuff: the schnapps, some 100 proof stolichnaya vodka, sprite, the blue curacua, rum, sugar, lemon juice, lime juice, sweet and sour mix... and maybe some other stuff, i don't remember. oh, and hansens apple-grape juice. yummy.
- and next week we go get hard cider and guinness for snakebites and i want to get some bitters to mix with. and i need to find an herbalist so i can get some herbs to homebrew some absinthe with.
- and so we's drinking and start to play bunko, which is a boring ass game, so we played some hearts and i don't get how you play it, so i just played in reverse of how they were playing, then we got into a discussion of circumcision, and then i switched it to boobies, and then i wanted to see boobies, so we watched requim for a dream. not really any boobies there, but jennifer connelly is HOT! and it's a good movie.

installed my new stock, and a new mag release (extended) and bolt release, on the 10/22
showered and went to work

came home and ate pizza, and watched the oingo boingo farewell concert dvd i got a couple weeks ago
went to my uncle and we went and saw pan's labryinth. awesome movie. i highly recommend it
smoked another cigar driving home. and now i'm updating here and then to bed.

...I have the next 2 weeks off for medical, but I have to say it's boring as hell already (and I haven't even broke out my PS2 yet!)...
Pan's Labyrinth? Yeah, it's going to win an oscar for it's screenplay and foreign language movie. It's rare when you see a movie that puts a tear in your eye and makes you clap within a minute of each other. Great flick!
