my best friend cancelled on lunch, so i'm going to work at 3 for no reason now. i think he's starting some pyramid scheme diet his inlaws are selling.

Coconuts...toothpicks...and PINE NEEDLES?! today wasn't that bad. i only worked like 3.5 hours and i was busy enough to keep myself occupied the whole time. i took my grandma to the doctor this morning, which was basically a 4 hour drive there and back, and that sucked, but my work day was alright. i'm not in a bad mood today.

I figured Penn and Teller were pretty cool. I've seen shows about them on TV...and the one guy (I forget which) collects all kinds of great stuff, like serial killer mementos and stuff.
As for the nothing to live for thing, yep, definitely been there! I used to have it narrowed down to "get up, go to work, come home, go to bed, get up, go to work...."
and I've had plenty of "pity parties", too.
I finally got a computer (which I knew nothing about, managed to get it up and going, started meeting people and things started looking up! I also quit the job that was driving me insane. (I had been there for 12 years!) Of course, I could use a job now...but it's not easy since I'm now covered in ink and piercings and have a Mohawk! But I refuse to change just to please a bunch of upper crust assholes!
(I like that word..."craptacular"... )

I used to drink nothing but Diet Soda...no water at all. Recently, though, I've been trying to force myself to at least drink one 16 oz glass a day of water. (Supposed to be good for your body, your skin, all that good stuff.) I still like soda much better, though...ah, chemicals...

I was listening to a CD of great 80's tunes last night, like Billy Idol, Blondie, The Psychedelic Furs, The Replacements, etc...and then I decided to listen to my copy of a great Iced Earth CD (they're a great heavy metal band!
It's funny, in your journal you have darks drying and reds washing...and right at this moment I have whites drying! Superbowl Sunday is a good day to catch up on every little thing you can possibly think of that needs to be done! (I HATE football!)
