Happy Thursday everyone! biggrin

This blog may be a bit long. I will apologize now for that, but if you read the whole thing it means you are truly my friend. wink So, thanks to those who DO make it all the way through. kiss

I love Thursdays. It means the next day is Friday and then I know that Jme will not have to go to work for the weekend and we can spend some time together. The kids don't have school, so we can all just chill out. No big plans for the weekend. Milliondead was so VERY nice and ordered Netflix for me while I am recovering. I ordered Something Wicked This Way Comes. Jme and I wanted to see it, but it is also a kids movie so I am thinking we can all watch it tomorrow night. It is scary. Has anyone seen it? I don't know if the kids will make it through but we can give it a try. wink

this is about last nights dinner...

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Last night for dinner I made a pork loin. I make them a lot but this one was exceptionally delicious! It was so tender and moist. You didn't even really need a knife to cut the meat. I just rubbed it with oil, sea salt, pepper, a little adobo, and some Italian seasonings. I cooked it for an hour then took it out and basted it was BBQ sauce, and not just any BBQ sauce but the BEST in the world. It's called Sweet Baby Rays honey chipolte bbq sauce. If you are a BBQ sauce fan you must try it. Jme made rice pilaf, broccoli, and carrots to go with dinner. He is the best veggie cooker I have ever met. The rice pilaf we get is the Near East kind. It is really good and so funny cause the kids think he makes it from scratch. The told me that he should box it and sell it. wink HA! So, today for lunch I made myself a BBQ pork sandwich. YUM! It was nice cause it is the first night in almost two weeks that we got to sit down and eat together again like a family. I missed that.

I am doing better. The glue is completely gone from my back now. It was itchy so I am really glad it is gone. I can't see my back but I am told it looks good. Not like the scar on my neck. I can feel it and it just feels bumpy. I am still hanging out in bed most of the time. I did get to make dinner last night but it isn't like what I did was hard. You just really have to put it in the oven. My leg hurts sometimes but not all the time so I have high hopes that I will be fine. I am looking forward to this spring and being able to go outside. I want to go bike riding and I have a lot of gardening I am going to have to do. Our yard is huge and it needs a lot of work. The construction did a number on the grass and there is still wood that needs to be put away or burned. I have some good ideas. I hope to do some amazing stuff!

About the kids!

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

The kids are both doing really well actually. Nick has come home the past couple days with really good news about what he has been doing in school. He wrote a report and did so well the teacher asked him to read it to the class. He told me he thinks he is getting and A and that he was very proud of himself. It made me feel so good. Then yesterday he came home and he solved some hard math problem. Yay for him!! Annabelle is struggling a bit. She loves school and she never complains about it but Math is really hard for her. She goes to a title one math class and gets some one on one help but the school called and they want to test her. They think she may have a learning disability. The last time I spoke with her teacher they thought that maybe it was a language processing disability. I told them to do whatever they have to do. I just want her to be happy and if she needs extra help that is fine with me. She reads so unbelievably well that you would never think she had a problem. It seems to be mostly with math and a bit with her spelling. I will do whatever I have to do to help her be successful with everything. She told Jme that she was worried about college. Geesh. She is only 7.

Winter Fun! biggrin

I was all excited the other day cause my, well I want to call her my Mother in law but she is not sent a box to us and in it was a new Tinkerbell tshirt. It is AWESOME! I love it! I have some really cute Tinkerbell fleece pants too. I LOVE Tinkerbell for those of you who do not know. wink I love fairies in general actually. I want Jme to draw one for me but he has yet to do that. whatever He has been doing some amazing work. He did this nude that is beautiful and another one called heartbreak that I love and I want in the kitchen. Here is the link to his deviant art page, Jme's page. Go see!
Here is one of me he did for my birthday. Not sure if I ever posted it.

Okay now I have written a book. whatever Sorry, I just had a lot to say. blush

Playing on my tv today will be:
1) Jeepers Creepers
2) Jacob's Ladder
3) H (it is a Japanese horror movie)

I watched the Ring yesterday and have decided it find it a very boring movie.
I am tired of being in bed..but at least my comforter is awesome!

Oh, and I have been reading. I just finished two books. The newest Harry Potter and a novel by Robert Parker. He write about a PI that works out of Boston. They are fun and easy reads. I don't have any books left to read and I can't get to the library right now. frown When I can I will. There are a few books I want to check out. If you have any suggestions please tell me.

I am off! Have a great day and a wonderful weekend! biggrin
