according to Vonnegut us humans may only be the breeders for microbial bacteria and sustainable disease. Apparantly these organisms are gonna be stronger and livelier than their hosts, and we will catapult them into the galaxy. According to Vonnegut we are a disease factory.
Acoording to Palahniuck we are working towards perfection. Suffering and pain are parts of the process that will get us there. Unfortunately we are like coarse rocks in the ocean at present and according to him, it'll be fucking years until we resemble anything like a shiny smooth rock. lots more suffering. i guess this would be a bit darwinesque. (is that a proper word?)
i dunno. maybe humans are too pompous. I tend to believe we are the fucking parasites and all of these hurricanes fires and wars are just the earth's white blood cells.
i guess that is a bit inhumane. but so is breeding, buying diamonds, consumerism, fast food, unsafe sex, GMOs, the meat industry, and everything else that fat dumb zombie Americans rely on. i think we deserve what we are getting. like W. said "bring it on..."
