Engaging: in a very polite, very carefully worded, potentially very damaging dispute with my PhD supervisor.
Wondering: if this is burning my bridges there? It wasn't my intention to do so; I really throught bringing up the issues would help improve the situation. Not so far...
Asking: how do you know when someone has a legit point and isn't being just an egotistical fuck? How do you, politely and professionally, tell someone "This isn't about you!!"
