K - so I am getting Emails about how people should take responcibility for their actions.
I am checking friend's journals where they've written poems about the same.
I have been witness to and played roles in conversation about the de-evolution of the human race (see HOTRODKID's profile) and possible highly unlikely ways to stop this from happening now - before we're all too dumb to do anything about it.
I've given serious thought into re-introducing my "Tail Sleeves" controversy. However we've already settled that ... because if Fire Fae and I agree - so it must be. (And so we both vote conservative .... I can't help it if we're right and some of you can't deal.)
GREAT NEWS!! It is offical that, until further notice, Medicaid will no longer pay for prescription medications for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction. Thats right Welfare Guys!! - If you can't get it up, you're on your own!! In Erie county alone, Medicare spent $50,000 on Viagra last year. Thats $50,000 less dollars than they could have used to keep the DMV open! Now we need to move on to just ebout every other prescription medication Medicaid covers. Call me a cold heartless bitch ... but I work in a retail pharmacy and I see every day the shit that people walk away with - refusing to pay their Medicaid $0.50 co-pays. (Yes, they, unlike every other insurance out there, CAN refuse to pay the copay). I'm talking diapers, acne medicine (not cheap), Various birth controls, Antidepressants ... I'm sorry ~ I think if you can't earn enough money to support yourself than you DESERVE to be depressed about it. Encourage old-school living ... no diapers ... clean a rag. No Acne Medicine. No, the pimple won't kill you. No Birth control ... I don't care if it keeps you "regular" ... I am not "regular" - see how much it has effected my life?
I think if you NEED it to live - fine. Baby formula (to a degree), thyroid medication, drugs you will be taking for the rest of your life .... GENERIC drugs. Its all the same anyway - I can't figure out how the hell you can tell me its different.
Don't have time to maintain a steady job - MAKE BABIES! Sometimes I think the Chineese Government had it right ... punish people for having more kids. Sure - help the single mother which a son her husband ran away from ... who works but can barely make ends meet ~ but help her less if she, while already seeking assistance, pops out 3 or 4 more kittens. Gawd - if she hasn't learned her lesson from the first one - shoot her and give us a tax break.
Colleges say "no" if you're just not smart enough. You have to earn your grades and your degree. I'm not saying dumb people can't live here .... I'm just saying we shouldn't pay their way. If they can't survive here on their own - their genes should not survive to a new generation.
I wont say "don't help the needy" - I know shit happens. But if I am paying taxes to serve someone who cannot work, I want to know that person living off my dime is making some serious efforts to get back on his/her feet and to become a useful member of society whose dime will someday circulate back into the finacial pool which so benovantly served him. If Medicaid doesn't work like this .... than human services and charities should be given right back to the communities ... its churches and organizations whose goal is community improvement.
We live now in a society where the hardworking and self-supporting are paying for the inept and lazy to live and encouraging them to multiply by throwing more money at them for every new future Goverment fund leach they create. It is no wonder humans, as a race, are de-evolving. We're allowing ... nay ... encouraging the imbiciles to breed! The men and women on the higher end who are proud examples of an advancing human race are outnumbered, overworked, and taxed.
I am not wealthy. In fact, I am probably only a step above all those people who find aid from our government. I work for a living and make only enough to live .... food, home, and internet. I wish to win the lottery as much as the next person ... but it's hard to win if you don't buy a ticket.
And yes - I do believe that if people had tails, the world should create a market for sleeves to cover them with.
