So someone (whom I very much dislike) was having a hard time at work today which I COULD have helped her with ... except I was in no mood to be helpful .... and in a moment of frustration I heard her mutter "This too shall pass."

Well - I was in no mood to be helpful. Naturally I followed it up with "... and then you move onto the next thing which will suck even more."

Its true ~ It came to pass. Everything which comes, passes. But you know what? Once something passes ... another thing comes!!! Why can't every shitty thing that is going to happen to you in the span of your life happen ALL AT ONCE?!? Then you have one Freak-Nast low period when suicidal doesn't even begin to cover it .... and if you survive it ~ thats it! You're done! Life is one sweet Sugar High from that moment on.

Ah - right. No one would survive it. Our trials today make us stronger so we can face the trials of tomorrow ...

I hope some god is up there getting some kind of amusement out of all this ~ otherwise my vision is failing to see the point.
