Don't let the trailer fool you, this is not some straightforward "Drive meets Taken" sort of movie. It was strange, melancholy, tense and dreamlike. Joaquin Phoenix is in my opinion, one of the most talented actors of all time. Whenever he's on the screen I can't take my eyes off of him, there's this mixture of instability and likability that he's really perfected. And Lynne Ramsay has such a unique voice and vision, I can't wait to see what else she does. If you're looking for a typical action movie, this isn't the one- but either way, I recommend it!
