3. Stay involved with it! Go to conventions, meet peopleespecially the fans! They are the ones who matter the most.

5. Surround yourself with people that you respect and admire (its keeps you on your top game!)
6. Research! Whatever your field of interest is, study the hell out of it online, read actual books about it, and watch movies about it. Eventually your head will be so polluted with info that you just cant seen to shut up about it!

8. Read and respect the competition, I have personal relationships with almost everyone else who reports on horror. I look up to them and love them as friends. 9. Get a network of support people who see your passion for what it is! People will help you achieve your dreams and goals! I should know I worked at BD for years without pay.
10. Start that Youtube Channel, stay focused, and don't listen to your detractors who tell you that things cant be done. You can accomplish amazing things if you stay focused and chase the dream. I have interviewed loads of people in my life and I never would have dreamed that I could consider some of my childhood idols, my actual friends.
