Get snubbed by one because they are too busy kissing the ass of the celebs in the room
Say hello to the others
Flirt with the hot chick in the room
Get snubbed by friends who are busy kissing more ass
Feel outwardly unwanted, by my close friends
Have a drink
Hang with my buddy I arrived with and talk shop
Somehow get snubbed again, this one is different because it's a disguised snub, almost a pity snub
Then say fuck it and try to leave without saying goodbye to everyone
I do however say my good byes to a few
One of the snubbers is surprised at my early departure, and even looks sad
I go home, feeling slighted
I try not to dwell on this because it's not really a big deal
Then a couple days later a snubber wants me to post some stuff on the website for them.
I smile and do it.
My choice of friends is making me question my own integrity
