Malia Nurmi better known to the world as Vampira passed away a few days ago in her sleep. We all remember the scenes in Ed wood where she was played by Lisa Maria, and of course in the masterpiece Plan 9 From Outer Space. She spawned hundreds of imitators and almost defined the sexy vampire Halloween costume that all guys and girls benefit from throughout October
