So I am currently finished working on Die Hard and onto the next thing which is a short film directed by my good friend Micah Gallo entitled "WICK". Its a horror short that I hope you will all get to see in the coming months after we finish shooting. I may have bit off more than I can chew on this one as I am working under the "Production Designer" title, but also wrangling all the post production stuff, helping out with the production side by getting people involved, cheerleading it, script notes and filming the behind the scenes stuff.
Its funny how when all you want to do is make movies and TV shows and suddenly you are in the middle of one, You almost don't notice that your life has changed in new and big ways! The days are flying by and the work doesn't seem to end. We start the actual shoot on Thursday.
Also I am on-board to do some VFX for the film Dark Reel starring my fav horror actress Tiffany Sheepis!
In other news I got my copy of Art of The Devil I & II today and I hope that I get a chance to watch them someday soon.
Joe Gomez and I have been working hand in hand on developing his feature film debut El Brazo Grande vs The Living Dead (you can see the trailer for it on a previous post). This is one of those projects that is fast tracking even before its greenlit!!
The amazing guys and girl from Wicked FX are staying with me and Tammy while they prep the FX stuff for WICK in the garage. It rules coming home and walking into the backyard, seeing creatures and disgusting stuff all around!
Fango con is a few days away and I am running out of time to prepare for it. I wanted to host a big party but work has gotten in the way of throwing one myself... maybe i will find out what the good parties are while I am there... Oh and Peter, Bob, Jovanka, Rob G, and John Toranni will be staying her0e at my place during and after the con so its going to be jam packed full of fun times and endless nights in the hot tub... we need to get more chiks in that hot tub!!
Lastly I had a great meeting with an actress named Lissa Slasher who has agreed to help me out with co-hosting duties on my TV show Macabre Society. we will be starting small on the internet, but expect big big things from this and many updates very soon!
Ok I am off to bed to try to dream of suicide girls, zombies and Spiderman sequels that dont suck.
