Why is it when you try to do something nice, people look at you shocked and give you that "your and idiot" look.
Driving into Louisville last night and went to the top of the off ramp, standing there was a homeless guy. You know the ones with the sign saying "Homeless vet, need food. God bless you". I was thinking, what if he really is a vet that is homeless, what if he fought or helped defend us and our country and now he is down on his luck for whatever reason? I am a vet, shouldn't i do something even if he isn't a vet? So when I get to the stop light I give him $5 and happen to look in the rear view mirror and see these two people just looking at me like I am some weird person, like I am an idiot. Hey, he might not buy food with it, but at least he has the option now. If people would change their attitude about extending a hand to help with something, then maybe the world would just be a little bit better place to live.

The way I see it is, who cares what they use it for- Who am I to judge their life and choices?! That person might of really needed a beer or blanket or the money to call his long lost love.
People look at me weird too- but fuck 'em. It's just money
