im soooooo tired.
it finally happened....mom passed yesterday. no matter how much you prepare for things, it is not an easy thing. my son is not taking it very well at all....my daughter, who was holding her hand and rubbing her arm when it happened is doing well, all things considered. i want to copy down something my daughter wrote to my mom since she really couldnt say what she wanted......
Busted elbows to skinned up knees and back to busted lips you have fixed them all before time and time again. Bad days and worse days to heart ache and boy trouble, you have been there with me helping me through them. I dont know how to say or express my feelings and how i'm dealing with this, but grandma I want you know that I love you very, very much. You will always have a very special place in my heart. I wanted to ask you how to do the things you do but i could never get the strength to ask. Now that time has past and you have gotten worse I just know that I love you and I want you to be in a better place than you are right now. Im going to miss you very, very much but you will always be alive in my heart. Grandma, seeing you the way you are kills me inside. You will always and dorever be my hero, my best friend, and my little old lady. Even though I tease you because you are so short, I still love you with all my heart all my soul. I have held out talking to you because i dont know to tell the person who has influenced me the most in my life goodbye. I realize now its not a goodbye its just an "I'll see you soon" kind of thing. I dont know how to talk about my feelings dealing with you so i knew that if I picked up a piece of paper and a pen I could tell you everything I wanted to say to you because writing opens so many doors for me. Grandma so i refuse to tell you goodbye, so ill tell you i'll see you soon. I love you grandma, you will always and forever be my hero, my best friend, amd my little old lady.
