well im finally out of the hospital and home.....seemed like forever. i went in on the 14th to have spinal fusion on two areas of my spine but only had the one done due to being on the table for 6 hours under sadation. the doctors didnt want to keep me under another 4 more hours.

the surgery went fine acording to the doctors, as far as i can tell there is no difference yet, just waiing till all the swelling to go down. the worse pain is in my right leg......it feels like when your foot falls asleep and the tinging/shooting pains when it is trying to wake up.....except all the time. i know eventually it will go away but i really wasnt expecting it. all the pain meds do help so i guess only time will tell. the doctors want me to get the next surgery done in three months which is around christmas time, so i guess i will wait till after the holidays and then get it done.

i was supposed to be in the hospital for 3-5 days and ended up being there for 9 days. the drain that they had put in had pulled out sometime between day 2 to 3 and wasnt draining properly so the doctors didnt know about it till day 4 and did another surgery on day 5. im the type of person that if they didnt have bad luck wouldnt have any luck.

oh well.....enough of the negitive things.....just looking forward to getting better,,,,so to all you who kept me in their prayers....thank you so very much.
