Lately I've missed hanging out with friends. Except now I don't have many because I've chosen to cut alot of people out of my life that had a tendency of bringing drama into my life. Sometimes I miss going out for a couple drinks and dancing but good lord why must so many people be ratchet? Not to mention going out can be pricey. Once I had a $140 tab!
It doesn't help that I'm on a different shift than a lot of people I know and they all have their own lives and kids now. I also currently live in a haunted house and activity has been picking up since we've started packing our things to move, so I stay home to make sure my pets are safe. Then there's Nirvana and I don't want her in the cage all day since my landlord/neighbor won't let her in the yard with his dogs since she's a pitbull.
On a lighter note I'm trying to decide what color I want to dye my hair. That will also involve dying it blonde so the red and blue wont show through. Oh the possibilities.

In the summer I played house league sports twice a week, and in the winter I do that twice a week and music twice a week. It costs a little bit of money to play in an organized recreational league, but the payoff is you get a little exercise and meet some new people usually with at least one similar interest.
Try to avoid becoming a shut-in (it's lonely), but maybe an organized activity once a week would help with the piece that you're missing while avoiding the drama?
