I started school on Tuesday. Yes, I am giving college another try. I'm still not sure what I want to do in life, but I might as well have a degree. Besides, I've always been an education nerd. It's the trick of finding an environment/class/teacher that allows me to learn from them as well as educate myself. I learned far more on my own from books and the streets than I ever did in a classroom.
I've got three communications/journalism classes with three labs as well as a Life Science and lab. I work the diner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I foresee in my near future being very poor, very busy and very tired. There will not be enough caffeine in this world. But thankfully my dad and I have talked this over and provided I actually stay in my classes instead of dropping them to go drink, fight and fuck the night away, he's going to help me out financially by taking care of my medical bills and giving me money for food.
On top of all of this I have an amazing boyfriend. Month five is coming up and it just blows my mind. He's put up with my insanity, hot-cold temperament, intensity and sexual demands for almost five months and I still love him. Stellar. Ever since my relationship of 2 1/2 years ended in 2006, the years have had simple filler relationships that lasted usually no longer than two or three months. In retrospect I was young, stupid and didn't know better than to end them long before they fizzled out. All in all, he's the best. Not only is he my boyfriend, he's my partner, confidante and best friend. Older men have got it goin' on.
