Today has been both a trill day and a shit day.
Looks like my Albuquerque plan is paying off. I got a job offer today from the City, I sent an email back so now all I have to do is wait, twiddle my thumbs and perhaps sit with said thumb up my ass. I can't tell you how fucking excited I was whenever I got that email.
But then I lost my ID holder. My driver's license, my school ID, my debit card, my gas card AND my laundry card. Fuck. I was supposed to leave tomorrow to go to Austin but it looks like that ain't gonna happen. AND I'm going to have to miss the Cold War Kids show. Fuck me. I'm going to have to end up driving back to amarillo using the only cash I have. Great. Terrific. I broke down crying today and called my mom. I'm just tired of shitty things happening to me. Bah bah emo emo. Kill me now.
BUT on the wonderful side, here are my beautiful new kittens:

My roommate's boyfriend nestling with my kitties. They hate him hahahahaha.
I want a dog. Bad. More precisely I want either a Pit Bull or a Bull Terrier. I have loved those dogs for so long. And I want one even more now that I'm moving to another state. I refuse to be a single female living alone without having any security. I've been on petfinder and have found a few that I like, especially a deaf Bull Terrier mix in Lubbock and a pit bull puppy in Gainesville. But we'll see.
Tomorrow I get to drive to Amarillo for 5 1/2 hours with two small kittens in my packed car. Wonderful. I love them, but lord theyr'e going to shit up a storm. Oh well, I love them. I just know I'm going to bomb my tests tomorrow. Ugh. my cats are spoiled rotten. Both of them are on my lap and Ozzy is pawing at my arm trying to chew my finger. I wouldn't give them up for the world.
They are wonderful.
Time to get back to life -sigh-
