I’ve been out of permanent work for a few months as I was nursing my little OzzyCat who had cancer. She passed away. I’ve begun looking for jobs as Senior Product Designer and have had an interview last week. I was told that the job was mine as long as a quick 30 minute chat with the product manager goes well.

It’s excellent money, company car and all the usual perks. But most of all, it’s a permanent role in a company with lots of challenges. At the position I’m in in my career, that’s crucial to me.

Fingers crossed I get it. Until then I’m working on contract work and am currently working with Booking.com on a set of cool new designs for their mobile products, so at least the rent will get paid.
