Someone today offered me a drink. I politely declined. When he pressed I again politely declined this time with the explanation that I am Straight Edge. Now anyone that knows me will know I dislike labels but I do abide by the codes of the sXe lifestyle.
Instead of just accepting that or inquiring inquisitively he responded with "no you are not"
far more declarative then questioning he said "You have tattoo's and piercings so you cannot be Straight Edge"...
Why do people need to prove they know more about you and your lifestyle then you?
