yeah. the joke pertains to the unwritten fact that everyone says "yo" in philly. if you see your friend a block away, and want to catch their attention, you scream "yo!". if youre catching up with a big group of people, you say "yo guys. whats up?" and so on. its just funny to me that my little old surburban jersey dad knew a corny joke that was very accurate with the philly subculture. hehehe

Speaking as a guy, and knowing nothing else about your situation, I'd have to bet that yeah, there's a high probability that he's interested. I'm assuming that since you're "worried" rather than "excited" about the possibility, you're not interested... in which case, so long as he's a gentleman about a polite 'no, thanks,' doesn't seem like such a great problem. It's a concert, so you get a free pass on awkward silences...
