One of the fun things about the way I get paid, is that sometimes I don't. September is one of those months. What makes it even more awesome is that September is the month I pay my health insurance bill for the next 3 months (which is about a $1K). The university does pay my health insurance. But they couldn't just do that directly. That would be too simple. They make me front the cash (because with their $4billion endowment they're just a bit hard up right now) and then pay me back over the next 3 months.

Fuckers.

So, I'm mostly broke until halloween.

I've started to get into the swing of the whole teaching thing. It's kind of fun. Time-consuming but fun.

Anyone want to hear about Clifford algebras and Bott periodicity? I'll be talking about it this Thursday. I just have to figure how the two are related first.

And their was drinking and debauchery as well over the past few days. But I want bore you with the details.
