There is an emptiness to things now.

There were days when I would look out at the world and be awash in euphoria. Things were simple because they were.

It hasn't been like that for a while. I have been struggling internally to get it back. The struggling doesn't help.

I'm trying to stop struggling against it. This mental block will pass. It has no choice.

In the meantime there is emptiness. I will weather this storm.

At least I have my work. Problems that I can solve. Ahhh I miss them so.

Spring is coming. It's just tying it's shoes right now.
