My very first tattoo! If you've read Blankets by Craig Thompson, then you'll recognize it. And if you haven't, you should read it.

It's starting to peel. Someone misplaces my lotion. Anyways,I had it done at Gotham tattoo in Castro. Graig was the artists name. Cool guy.

In the book the main character has an internal struggle between his artwork and his religious views. This is what happens when the stress of it all makes you snap...yup

I haven't had time to relax lately. Kimberly visited and I've had hwmk out the wazoo! I'm stresses like a rubber band. That's basically what I do, Most Studio Art majors finish the required classes and then stick to either ALL 2-d or all 3-d. I just take whatever sounds interesting, sometimes its painting or collage, sometimes its 3-d mixed media or metal casting.

Ive been sketching all week, trying to get my mind back in the grove of working, I'm pretty excited.

Haha, I love charcoal, but every time I use it I spend the next two days sneezing up charcoal......that's kinda gross now that I see it typed out.

I NEVER draw, I dont enjoy it at all, I wish I did because I love looking at rendered work so much, but I tend to do a lot of sketches/diagrams when I'm tryin to work out a concept for a particular piece, and especially when I'm trying to build a body of work.
