Yes ladies and germs, I am one year older today. Can't say being over 30 feels any different than my 20's, but I think I am a lot wiser than I was. One good thing is thanks to my good genes on my maternal side, I don't look my age.

Got a nice messenger bag from mattthegoon and a gift card from Hot Topic from his g/f Motega, so I think some shopping today may be in order. The hubby got me the first season of Rome on DvD and a gift cert for the tattoo shop (woo-hoo!). My parents gave me the usual/unusual stuff. I never knew what an Ulu knife was till today (thanks, mom).

All gifts aside, my sister-in-law came up for the weekend and we all had a blast doing Halloweenie stuff. It was a blast. I love being an October baby. I'd rather have friends than presents on my birthday because birthdays alone are teh Suxxors.

So here's to another year. Hopefully it all ends without much ado so I can get on with my new major next semester (Hooray Film Studies).
