I decided that for the next month I am only going to listen to music that is older than myself. I started today and listened to a shit ton of Grateful Dead, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Joan Jett, Pink Floyd and The Beatles (in mono).
It was a good day. I started to think about it and there is going to be no hip hop in any of my playlists for a while and that kinda bums me out. I need to get some old school punk bands because there is only so much early years nofx, ramones, sex pistols and bad religion I can listen to in a month and I need me some punk.
If you have any suggestions it has to be before 1983.

Yeah people in the theater I was in hated it. I wouldn't have given movie of the year or anything, but I thought it was good. The same thing happened with Burn After Reading though, people only like their comedy to slap them in the face, nothing subtle these days.
