Some of you know I have a rather unusual relationship with food, more likely, sweets. On one hand I have my little fake-sweets store Ai Candies and on the other, I do make real sweets (and they're pretty good if I may so myself).
And as much as I'm OK with following recipes, I also like to simplify or adapt them to what I have in hand.

Last Summer (Winter, for you in the northern hemisphere) I got one of those home ice-cream churners, so I started making a TON of ice-cream. But ice-cream churners take a lot of freezer space and time so I decided to try and use recipes that make good ice-cream yet don't require any special equipment or unusual ingredients. And I would like to share them with you. smile

How about some mouth-watering Nutella ice-cream?



Ingredients:

- 200 g of Nutella (1 small jar)
- 397 g of condensed milk (1 can)
- 500 ml of cream (any kind)
- 1 tea spoon of vanilla extract



Mix your Nutella, condensed milk and vanilla extract. You can do it in a 1,5 or 2 litre freezer container (make sure it has a lid). Nutella is stiff and will try to resist, so give it a good fight. You may end up with very small bits of unmixed Nutella that look like little chocolate chips. Try to dissolve them if you want, I think they look cool so I leave them be.
Whip your cream until you have stiff peaks, then fold it into your Nutella mixture.



That's pretty much it. Close your container, put it in your freezer and try to forget about it for the rest of the day. No really, this is important! If you made the mistake of tasting the mix before putting it away in your freezer, you may be doomed to eat the whole thing before it's done. Don't say I didn't warn you.

This is the final product: No churn, no hassle, all sugar and fat.
