Today is a cold day.
Very cold one.
TOO cold, in fact.
So I plan to do absolutely NOTHING today, specially if it involves going out.
It's no surprise I hate Winter. The problem? It's barely Autumn!
So I'll stay indoors, glued to my heater and I'll keep busy cleaning up and doing some of my silly crafts.
So, on to the picdump!
This week I finished several crafts. Some were comissions and others were... I don't know, experiments?
These cake slices were comissions. My customer was coming to get them (along several other things) and just texted me she overslept. I'd punch her if she wasn't such a good customer...
This cake-clock is the experiment. I had been searthing for months for clocks to deco. It took me some time to finish all the parts (each berry is handmade with clay) but here it is. I hope it goes to a nice and cute home.
I've also been cleaning a bit.
The wheel on my mouse was a bit wonky so I opened the thing up and took a look. I mean, optical mice don't need cleaning, right? Wrong! Mine was full of little hairs and fibers. Works a lot better now.
Took the plunge and cleaned my keyboard too. It was time, the thing was filthy!
I removed each and every key, washed them and sweeped the base. The problem? Some keys aren't working the way they should... I hope it's not the dirt they're missing.
Last night I went to this art contest where my husband was a finalist.
It was extremely long and boring, but I got to take a picture with a picture of myself.
Look Mum! I'm a model!
I left early, but my husband told me several people took their picture with... my picture. Some even pulled the same face. And I don't know if I get it.
Sadly we didn't win, even though my picture (or the picture of myself?) was the favourite. At least my husband got to take home (or to steal?) big prints of his work. We plan to hang them at home.
I found out I need more space in my book shelves. I simply own too many comic books. I decided to get rid of some though... It doesn't feel good, throwing all that paper away. I want to recycle some of that paper and cover up some old boxes.
Next step: get more boxes!
