Ok, new house is under contract as of yesterday! The bank "misplaced" about $50,000 of my mom's money though, so we can't close until that's cleared up, but once it is there will be a check written and I'll be moving. Can't wait!

Oh! That misplacement reminds me of Brecht in The Three-Penny Opera: A gang leaves the underworld and opens a bank. One of them says something like "Why go to people in order to rob them if you can rob them through a bank?" wink
