So I went to the Shinedown concert last night. It was awesome. They gave one of the best, if not the best, show I've seen. The opening bands were even pretty good. Shinedown themselves kicked ass. The whole band is talented, but their lead singer has a beautiful voice and the guitar player is fucking awesome. He played an amazing guitar solo at one point with the guitar held over his head. Not to mention the fact that the singer at one point just decided to come on down and walk around in the crowd. Everytime I've seen a really popular national recording artist kind of band before it's been in large, mostly outdoor venues and you'd just never see that even if a band member wanted to do it. The whole thing was sweet though. They put on a hell of a show.
One thing sucks this monring though. Was trying to get NIN tickets presale from a radio promotion and the tickets they were putting on sale today took all of 1 or 2 minutes to sell out. Of course, I can buy them tomorrow when they go on sale to the general public, but If they sold out that fast this morning then I'm gonna have to keep my fingers crossed that I can get them tomorrow.
