Checked on getting into drawing for storyboarding again this morning (clas I need for winter quarter) and still no luck. Classes start again in just a few days so I guess it's about time I just give up and face the fact that I'll just have to take it in spring. I'm going to try to get books later this week if I can figure out which ones I need. Hoping to get them before the dorms open back up and everyone comes pouring back in. Hopefully the bookstore here will run out of 2-D design books after the quarter starts again though so they'll buy that bloody book back. $80 for my 2-D design book and I might have used it once then Ex Libris (the bookstore) had all they needed to buy back so I could either keep the book or give it to them for not even a dollar. Way I see it I can give the book to someone whos taking the class or just keep it for refrence if that's all I get back for it.
My schedule isn't looking all that great this quarter. Color theory is the only class I'm looking forward to. I'll have 3-D design, which is atleast still an art class, but the last 3-D designed thing I made was a little ceramic tea pot that my own mom keeps out of sight. I have to take composition too. Hoping my professor on that one isn't horribly strict. I personally think my writing manages to convey it's point, but I tend to ramble and my spelling, grammar and punctuation are far from perfect.
Despite my bitching I actually am anxious for class to start again. It's incredibly fucking boring sitting around the apartment all day. The few people I met around school have all gone home for the holidays and it's to cold to go to the beach. My bf works so screwing all day is out too. Might do an SG banner later today so I have something to do, but I don't have photoshop or illustrator or anything on the computer and I don't have the software to make my scanner work so there will be no submitting of anything until the dorms open again anyways.
Did I mention it's fucking cold today?
