The inagural bout for the Savannah Derby Devils was tonight. It was a great success, even though the Atlanta Rollergirls handed our ass to us. Tickets sold out. Hopefully this will result in much more rollerderby joy to come down here! I ended up keeping penalties, and found that despite needing to dodge refs and falling derby girls, the center of the ring is by far the best seat. Hopefully I'll be skating in the next bout!

You have to get some vids and throw them up on Youtube, I know the Terminal City Rollergirls *the league up here* has some and the first bout is coming up in April I believe.
