I plan to do a picture filled update later, but had an interesting weekend full of broken and missing cars and nice people that helped us out. The rather high heels I was planning on wearing for 2 hours or so during the afternoon and 2 hours or so in the evening I ended up stuck in for over 24 hours and literally wore the sole of the ball of one foot. (It's very painful, don't try this at home.)
Puppy barely ate all weekend and was sick so we went to the vet yesterday. She tested clear for parvo, but desperately needed worming. I don't think the shelter I adopted her from wormed her right before I got her like they said they did. So little of what's one her paperwork is true that I'm tempted to get all her shots redone just in case, but don't want to make her sick. In any case she's been a happy puppy all day and is already starting to gain some wieght finally. I put a little purple bandana on her this morning. It's to big for her so she looks like she has a cape. It's adorable.
My sweety joined the site! After long looking over my shoulder we finally got him a membership as well. He's on the ball. He already has a journal, pic and profile all up.

I bought a bunch of herbs to replace the annuals and the stuff that just couldn't survive the climate last year. Got most of it planted before class this morning. The rest of everything and a lot of what I did get in the ground wilted during the day, but I watered everything down and it's perking up between that and the sun going down. I need to go water them all again before it gets totally dark out now that the water isn't just going to evaporate right back up. The garden is looking gorgeous other than the wilty bit. I have a much bigger selection now and I plan to make a LOT of pesto this year. I think I'm also going to plant some tomatoes, peppers, squash and cucumber back along the fence. I think it will be nice to have fresh, organic veggies this summer without having to make frequent trips to the store and paying way to much. I bought some strawberry plants too. I've got a spot for them where they'll have decent dirt and plenty of sun, but it's around a tiny tree in the middle of the yard and I'm gonna have to watch them like a hawk this summer or else I'm going to have a strawberry patch for a back yard. Not that that would be such a horrid thing.
Oh yea, and I got my first 20th Century Art History exam back today. Aced that bitch!

the garden sounds awesome, but I'm surprised you can grow strawberries. I always thought they were a cool weather plant...
