So I have been "tagged" by Lord_Frous. Let me see if I can scrounge up 20 little known facts about me then.
1, I hate it when people have everything handed to them on a silver platter and they aren't grateful, but feel like a hypocrite about that because my boyfriend, one of our best friends, and myself all live in a house my parents bought us.
2. I never planned on living with my boyfriend before we were married. We've had to cancel the wedding three times for various reasons.
3. I don't believe in divorce for any reason other than abuse if you have kids.
4. I avoid discussing politics because I find most people are deeply attatched to thier views, often can't supply any real reason for believeing what they do and aren't going to change thier mind about anything except thier perception of me.
5. As not even my best friend really knows where I stand on most issues, I would guess that counts as a little known fact. I eat meat. I'm for optional privatization of social security. I'm pro-choice. I don't believe in blue laws and hate that you can't buy booze on Sunday. I think democrats lean towards socialism and just don't call it that and republicans don't understand seperation of church and state. I vote libertarian most of the time. I want to abolish income tax and the IRS and institute a higher sales tax instead. I don't think it started as a war for oil, but I think it has turned into one. I think homeland security murdered the bill of rights. I have no problem with gay marriage to allow them fair access to things straight couples can get, but still generally think of marriage as a man and a woman.
6. Despite the fact that I generally stay away from other girls and most of my friends and fuck-buddies are male, I perfer women to men by a very long stretch and always have. I still managed to fall head over heels for a man. Luckily, he's very understanding (and is happy to watch when possible).
7. I don't like recieving oral sex much at all.
8. I adore pretty dresses, nice shoes (especially heels) and such, but always wear jeans and generally a tee shirt or something similar anyways.
9. I have been telling myself that I'll start wearing the stuff I like after I lose 5 more pounds for the last 30 or so.
10. I say I play WoW, but what I really mean is that bloody game has consumed my life totally.
11. Between that and a slight social phobia I really don't leave the house at all except for class and when there is no food left. I have more fingers than times I've left the house for a non-school or basic need related reason in the last year.
12. This is the reason I do, and for most of my past jobs have done, freelance work almost exclusivly. I've only met a very small handful of my bosses and people I've worked with.
13. Despite all this I really don't consider myself to be insecure, just a little lonely at times. The truth is I really just have a distaste for people overall. Seen the sticker "I love my cat more than most of the people I meet"? Yea, well, it's the truth.
14. I used to cook three meals a day. Since my roommate moved in I maybe cook two a week. The dishes and amount of food it takes to feed three people like that destroyed my desire.
15. Of all the stupid things I've done and been involved in over the years, the thing I regret the most is not some lost love or person I might have hurt, it's cutting my hair off.
16. I hate the telephone with a passion. I've passed up sex with a beatiful woman because I would have had to call her to get directions.
17. Before I got accepted to my current school I was going to go pre-med. Injuries generally make my stomach turn. Burns cause lost lunch.
18. I thought trying to find a job in art was worse than idiotic until junior year in high school. My first illustration job was a year after I started in the art program. My family still believes I'm wasting four years and a bunch of money.
19. Areas with low visibility because of thick vegetation make me uncomfortable.
20. I got my pilot's liscense before I got my driver's liscense.
