bumped into my god child today. she's an adorable 2 year old. at one point she ran under a table and started waving her hand at me, saying "Go away, go away!" i asked my friend why Brook was suddenly upset and was told that she gets emberassed when she has to 'fill up her diaper.' kids are hilarious.

dreams sometimes seem to manifest reality. less than a month ago, i had my first dream about my deceased friend alex since his suicide 3 yrs ago. woke up and then the first thing i see on the front cover of the o.c. register sunday edition is a large picture of alex and a 3 page article on suicide. gone but not forgotten.

an overcast day without any rain somehow brings me comfort. grey is an excellet color for a blanket.
