Also known as fixed object jumping. BASE is the act of jumping off of objects with nothing but a single parachute on your back. You've got one chance to do things right and maybe 15 seconds to do it in. Generally an illegal activity, you tend to participate in the early morning hours or at night because of the lessened risk of detection.
