Well, I am officially broke again. I just got finished with paying bills. Ugg! It's such an ordeal, I always feel like I'm on top of things before I start, got all that money in the checking account ready to go. Then, bit by bit, check by check it all goes away.....
I got stuck in the parking lot at work today. That was kinda funnystupid. They expanded the parking lot last fall, so all around the back side there is no grass at the edge of the pavement. It's all mud. Well, I pull into my spot this morning with my litte car, I don't drive the truck to work because the car gets 50 mpg and the truck gets 13 if I'm lucky. I have to drive about 72 miles round trip, you do the math... Anyways, I pull into the parking spot, not really paying attention and I pull too far forward and drop off the edge of the pavement. No big deal except that theirs still remnants of snow on the ground. I tried to back out of it but it was all slick and slushy so my tires just spun. I said the hell with it before I dug myself in real deep, it was supposed to be nicer today so I figured that the snow would melt and it would be easier to get out of after work.
So, after work I go out to my car and, lo and behold, yes, the snow had indeed melted.....leaving behind much mud. My poor litte car had sunk halfway up the rim in the mud! Shit, now what am I going to do....if anybody sees me stuck in the mud, inches off of the pavement, I'll never hear the end of it. I tried a little to get out, Ha! It's really buried now. Damn, time to suck it up and go ask for help. I happened to find one of the engineers who is a little on the quiet side, which was cool because I knew he won't say anything to anybody. He had a truck so I hooked a strap up and he gave a little tug and out I came!
Ha! I'll find out tomorrow if anyone found out about it........
