We took Patrick up on his first tandem skydive a few weeks ago. It's been a big dream of his to jump out of an airplane. He wanted to do it to commemorate his father who was a veteran and served in the airborne forces. Patrick's father was ill and the diagnosis was not good and was not expected to live much longer.

We worked with Patrick for several weeks scheduling his jump numerous times only to have to cancel each time because of bad weather. Finally we took a chance and scheduled for an off day that was marginal but had some potential for decent weather. That Monday Patrick showed up with his family and even though we had to wait on clouds for a bit which delayed the days events, we got him and a couple of his kids up to 10,000' and made his dream come true! With video, so he could show his dad.

Patrick is a paraplegic.

I just received a call from Patrick; he jumped on a Monday and showed his dad the video on Wednesday. After watching the video, Patrick's dad said "Son, you make me so proud."

His dad passed away several days later.

Patrick just called to thank us again for making his dream come true and allowing him to show his dad how much he cared and how much respect he had for him.

I just thought it would be a cool thing to share this story.
