He's baaaaaaaaaaaaack. And this time he's a dad.
Ok, at the outset of this I have to cop to the fact I broke my resolution of posting early and posting often. I had the best of intentions. And then on March 26th, I became a parent. And have not slept since.
All the requisite cliches apply...priorities shift, your life is no longer yours, you'll never sleep again, you barely find the time to eat, let alone blog.
All true. All worth it. It is a joy and a challenge that is difficult at best to put into words.
What have I learned about parenthood and child birth thus far? Well, nothing is how it was presented to me as a kid via "Happy Days" and "Family Ties". In the delivery room there were exactly four people. My wife, her doctor, a nurse, and me. Did I have to wear surgical scrubs? Hell no.
I helped deliver my son wearing jeans and a KISS t-shirt.
