the new computer arrived yesterday. but i haven't been able to use it yet >.< the monitor i have has a dvi cable and the only port on the pc is avg (which is kinda odd) so i ended up taking a 3 1/2 hour trip to frys and got an adapter (and ink refil and nachos) and when i finally made room for it and got it all set up, the monitor isn't working. it's just black with the light blinking like its asleep. i pressed some buttons on the monitor and it had a little think in the corner blinking back and forth saying " digital, analog, digital, analog". pressed more buttons and now it just says check analog connection. but everything is connected! i looked online and it seems other have had similar problems but no solutions offered. anyways, my friends coming over today to look at it.
