spazzing

that new painting is giving me some troubles. or at least it was yesterday when i was trying to work on it. looks like the smooth sailing ive had with this series so far is finally seeing some rough water. gotta put on the thinking cap


OH but guess what. Jack (the painting instructor and head of the art department) came over to me the other day while i was working and said that he liked this new stuff so much that he wanted to give me my own solo exhibitionism. especially since some of the paintings are of the school (always making it look good for the school to appease his superiors) so yea, he says that i should make a real sturdy body of work, like ten pieces, and then i could have a show in the gallery. SO EXCITED! it was such a fucking honor to be told that, you have no idea. and such a 360 from him saying he was not obligated to ever show my paintings, when i was painting the wacky stuff. so yea....i hope this actually happens. but it's gonna be real difficult to paint once im out of school in a couple weeks. i need to find my own studio. and money. and maybe jack will let me visit and use the saw to build my canvases.
