im so pissed at myself. I used to have a rule that I set for myself.. no speeding at night because you can't see cops as well and overall driving conditions are less safe. well i've been breaking my own rule for a while now. time to pay the price i guess. fuuuuuck. and a big price it will be. I didn't think I was going over 85. my speedometer (odometer? whatever its called) doesn't go past 85 even. and it wasn't going past it like I know it can. but then there are the lights. fuuuuuuuck. he clocks me at 95. 95mph!! i guess my car CAN go that fast, damn. If my spedometer went higher I would never knowingly drive at that speed. does that count for anything? I checked his machine too, just to be sure. he was a nice cop at least. but damn this is gonna cost me. there goes my good driving record. my decent insurance rate. i was under a good young driver rate actually, where as long as you didn't have any moving violations or accidents and went to these seminars once in a while, you got a fixed rate til you are 24 (but u only have to go to classes til you are 19). fuckin a. my checking account is going to be raped. anyone wanna chip in? eh? eh? Anybody have experience with speeding tickets? Do you think it would be helpful for me to appear in court (rather than just send in the check) and give my explanation about my spedometer? Maybe I could get the charge lessened. cuz 25 over the limit is gonna be fucking expensive as hell. is that considered wreckless almost? i dont know the cutoffs. also he wrote down M for my sex on the ticket. wtf? i think he was filling it out when he was talking to the other cop that pulled up behind him though so he probably wasn't paying attention. he didn't write a fine down, he said to call in for it. eeps. so i can call and pay the fine, or show up at 8:30am on the 25th in buffalo. fuck fuck fuck.
