so im bored and jobless :-(, yes thats right kids, after having a job for less than 2 weeks, i got fired for not adhering to the dress code, which means that i had a few wrinkles in my pants. you know its one thing if i had been reprimanded a few times, but they didnt even tell me i had to have ironed pants. somehow i think its more of an issue than what the owner was letting on. it doesnt matter though, in my state, there is whats called "work at will", which means an owner can hire/fire whomever he pleases at any time for any reason. shit like this makes me more democratic. people like that guy should be banned from owning a business.

I'm sorry to hear about your getting fired for such a pathetic "reason". Why bother hiring someone if you're just going to treat them like crap.
but you should be glad you dont work for an asshole like that. you would have probably ended up hating the job in the long run anyway.
