sometimes i can be so over-philosophical it is nauseating. what makes a person like what a person likes? what accounts for taste? is it actually something that a person likes, or do they just want to look "cool"...i mean sometimes i like the musical stuff i like thats "underground" and wonder, do i REALLY like this or has my subconcious mind gotten me so confused as to even change my taste in music. tastes are funny things really, you really have no right to be a music nazi because music is music and as "repitative" as you think techno might be, other things probably have just as much, it just isnt as obvious because it is not computerized. but i could be full of shit, what makes a person like a certain music. there is no doubt in my mind that who you aquaint yourself with have an impact, but how much of the "other" do you like become part of yourself? does anyone else think about this?
