Yeah, I off-road in it, mostly in the desert (central, OR) or snow. I'm not one of those guys with the tricked out Jeep who never sees dirt in it. Those guys suck. Mine's just a stock Jeep with a few minor mods, nothing fancy, but it does the job, and I bet I'll take it places people in Jeeps with massive mods won't.
Fun stuff! Where I grew up it was basically a high desert with lots of open spaces, lots of hills and wilderness...off-roading was awesome. Never went to Central Oregon tho.
Used to ride quads all the time through fields, too (lots of people had them, tho I myself never owned one).
The best off-roading I was ever involved in though was when I was with a friend of mine and we were driving through a big puddle, a puddle that turned out to be about 5 feet deep! We both got soaked, and the jeep got ruined, but we both got out of the vehicle laughing our asses off.
